Solar Air Conditioning works two ways
On the grid? Run it in Hybrid Mode. The unit always takes free solar energy first and only pulls from the grid to top up when the sun can’t keep up. You get full performance whenever you want it, with the daytime running cost cut right down — which, in a Cyprus summer, is when the air con is working hardest anyway.
Want to run on nothing but sun? Select Eco (Solar Only) Mode — available whether you’re on the grid or off it. The unit then runs entirely on the panels, adjusting its output as the sunshine changes through the day and pausing if the light drops too low, rather than topping up from the mains. Because it can run with no grid supply at all, it’s also what makes these units genuinely useful for remote homes, cabins, agricultural buildings, forestry stations and anywhere the grid is absent or unreliable.
